A hall bath looks like a short job. Tear out the old tile, set a new shower, hang a vanity, and you are done. In Central Florida that is only true if the weather lets the work stay dry. Hurricane season runs through November. Peak months are still here. A two-week bath that starts without a dry window turns into a three-week bath with an open floor and a delayed plumber.

Why a short bath still needs a dry window
Demo is the easy part. The schedule lives in what comes next: the floor has to dry, the shower pan or membrane has to set, thinset and grout need a stable room, and paint will not hold on a wet wall. A named storm, or three days of tropical rain, is enough to pause that sequence. Humidity in Clermont, Winter Garden, Windermere, and the rest of Greater Orlando already slows dry times. Add a storm and the room stays torn up.
Tile and a stock vanity can be on site quickly. A custom glass panel, a specific porcelain, or a vanity that is not on a local shelf still have a wait. Order those before the next wet week, not during it.
What has to be decided before we open the room
Keep the fixture locations or move them. Moving a drain or a vent is a different job than a like-for-like swap. That decision has to happen before demo, because you do not want that choice landing the same week a storm is on the map.
We walk the actual bath. We do not drop a catalog shower onto a house we have not measured. If the job is a hall bath, same footprint, we will tell you how many dry days it needs. If it is a primary bath with a new layout, the window is longer. We will not invent a one-week primary bath.
What can wait until after the season
A powder room nobody uses can wait. A second bath that is not the one the house depends on can wait. The bath you cannot lose for two weeks should be the one we schedule now, in a stretch of calendar that is actually open.
